Information Sheet for Tech Fair, 2010

Date: May 5

Time: 3:00 PM-7:00 PM

Frank G Pogue Student Center at Edinboro University

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS APRIL 26, 2010

 

INFO LETTER FOR PRINTING

 

Arrival:

•    We request that participants arrive in time to register and set up prior to 3:00

•    If this is not possible, please indicate on the registration when you will arrive.

•    Registration table will be located inside the Pogue Center main entrance.

•    One representative should stop and pick up materials for the class.

Departure:

•    We request that all participating classes remain for the complete showcase- 7:00 PM

•    Drawings for door prizes will begin at about 6:45 PM

•    Please do not tear down displays until after the drawings

Space Provisions:

•    1 table (8 foot rectangular or round)

•    Chairs

•    NO materials may be attached to walls

•    No projectors are available

•    Wired or wireless internet can be selected

•    We encourage classes to have a representative at their table to answer questions

Dinner:

•    For participating students and their teacher - free of charge

•    Will be served from 4:15-6:15-Groups will be assigned a time for dinner

•    Pizza or chicken tenders, chips, veggie tray, drink and dessert

•    Food is available for purchase at the Food Court or Cyber Café at the Pogue Center

•    Tickets will be provided for registered participants

Event Activities:

•    For participating students and their teacher - free of charge

•    Times will be announced

•    Tickets will be provided for registered participants

Door Prizes:

•    Vendors and other sponsors will provide a number of door prizes for students.

•    The name badge will be turned in for the drawing.

•    Teachers-please collect all name tags at 6:30-they will be collected by Tech Fair Staff

Certificates:

•    Student participants will receive a certificate at the event.

•    It is very important that we have an accurate listing of students, correctly spelled.

•    The names should be included in the registration.

•    If changes are needed they can be emailed to npaect08@gmail.com.

Pictures:

•    Pictures will be taken at the event.

•    These pictures, without names, will be displayed from the NPAECT website
